In align with my previous post, I was thinking for the next couple of weeks, the topic of advice could be on Travel and advice you would pass on to your daughter on travel. My brother could probably help on this one, but a few that I have thought of:
- Always tell someone where you are going and when you will be coming back
- Make a list of 5 places you want to see and make it to one of them before 35
- Not all adventures have to be in a foriegn contry
- Traveling with friends is a benefit, but not required
- Save some extra funds as emergency use only - just in case
- Buy one thing that will last, you will cheerish it as time goes on
Will post more, this are just for starters ;)

Keep it up!
Some great advice so far. I am going to keep a page of current advice that has been posted. As we get more and more, I believe that some categories will show themselves.
Also in the interest of helping spark imagination, after I get back from my next work trip, I am going to start posting topics to give advice on. So for 2 weeks the category will be maybe Highschool, then Prom, then maybe choosing a major in college, etc.
Also, please forward to anyone who may be able to contribute. ;)

What would you pass on?
I was thinking to myself one day that I really should start documenting the lessons I have learned as advice for my daughter, who is now 2. So when she grows, I can hand it over. However, it occured to me that the best advice I have recieved are from my friends.
So I welcome anyone, post the advice, over time I will group and organize the compilation.
A few examples:
- Don't ever cut your own bangs
- Learn to walk in heels
- Learn to play one instrument
- Learn to cook one meal, confidently
- Update your goals on a regular basis, life is always changing
